ARTIST STATEMENT:
For this piece I wanted to create a "poster" of sorts that highlighted some of the pieces I created in my art journals this semester. I wanted it to be a message to myself and my students of the things I strive to be as an educator and the experiences I want my students to have in class. I also included the Studio Habits of Mind in gold text, as that has become a huge keystone in my path to becoming an educator. I chose to do the form of a quilt to show all these different things coming together to make a whole.
